I don’t know about you guys, but sometimes I am inspired to use fabric for a variety of arts and crafts, but a lot of the time that fabric just won’t “play ball” and do what I want it to do.
I have tried a variety of starches, interfacing, backings and fabric stabilizers, but quite often they don’t work or make the fabric a bit too bulky.
Discovering Terial Magic is, well, just that… magic! It gives your fabric a paper-like feel (really great for unruly knits), and allows you the freedom to work with it much more easily.
It’s really great for applique… and even better for fabrics you wish to print on. In all honestly, I love putting fabric through my home based printer from time to time (really I do, it’s one of my favorite ways of up-cycling fabrics). Though I constantly have problems, the fabrics are either too flimsy or the threads get stuck in the paper rollers, etc. This stabilizer has really helped me combat all of these issues, and I highly recommend giving it a try.
